Job Title: Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor 

Department: Commercial Sales 

Reports To: Commercial Administrative Manager 

Job Description Summary: The Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor main objectives is to motivate and mentor all sales staff to sell all products offered by Cellular One so that the targets will be achieved by the company and to foster customer loyalty through high-quality interactions at each step with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction. The Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor is responsible for sales employee work schedule, making sure that they are adhering to dress code and company standards. The Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor ensures that all the merchandise is current, clean and saleable, by making regular inspections. The Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor must have a thorough understanding of all available Commercial Sales offerings in order to provide the sales employees and customers with the appropriate solutions. A varied work schedule, including evenings and weekends, along with minimal business travel is required. As with all positions at Cellular One, the Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor must exhibit actions and behaviors that promote a positive, supportive working environment at all times. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

Major Duties & Responsibilities: 

 Responsible for the day to day operations and profitability of the store locations and all employee interaction with other employee and customers 

 Meeting and/or exceeding monthly company sales targets and net subscriber targets 

 Provide high quality customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and retention 

 Responsible for interviewing potential new employees and train all new hire employees for store location 

 Train and coach employees on the six steps of the sale 1. Meet and Greet, 2. Build Rapport, 3. Fact Find, 4. Presentation/Demonstration, 5. Close, 6. Follow Up 

 Ensure all employees complete “Walk out Working” on all handset and sim leaving the store location 

 Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive excellent service and quality goods 

 Review all open follow ups for store location and ensure that follow ups are worked and closed 

 Manage, prepare and review inventory returns and transfers are complete including but not limited to DOA/DOR equipment and Fortegra handset for location. 

 Review all service related contracts and POS system for accurate activations and renewal 

 Responsible for coaching all store employees. Coaching includes but not limited to sales, upselling, customer experience and processes and procedures. 

 Manage inventory and collateral stock and alert or order when it drops to a specified level 

 Enforce safety health and security 

 Train, coach and instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales 

 Confer with Head of Commercial to develop methods to increase sales, expand markets and promote business 

 Build and train sales staff team and develop overall store team spirit 

 Create monthly store location work schedule and ensure store is staffed during busy times 

 Reviews and approves store employee hours through ADP and manages overtime 

 Reviews team sales progress 

 Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implement within the Commercial sales team 

Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor 

Additional Duties & Responsibilities: 

 Keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions 

 Serve as the escalation point for customer issues that cannot be resolved at the Store Employee level 

 Attend weekly Supervisors meeting and annual sales training 

 Assign employees to store duties 

 Make sure Mindflash is completed by self and staff as required with 100% pass rate 

 Prepare or delegate Loomis pickup each week 

 Weekly one on one with employees and document training opportunities and successes 

 Monitor store activation sheets and make sure that all employees are capturing data required to pay out commissions 

 Report inventory discrepancies to Head of Commercial 

 Manage cash handling policy and assure adherence 

 Review all vault drops and report on discrepancies 

 Evaluate on the job performance and make recommendations on performance issues, in the event of a PIP, report adherence to HR and Retail Sales Manager daily/weekly/monthly 

 Complete semiannual CPR for each employee 

 Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers 

 Manage off site events for Freedomfone and/or Free4Life accounts 

 Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed 

 Monitor local competitors 

 Identify current and future trends that appeal to customers and provide feedback on ways to enhance business operations

Retail Sales Senior Store Supervisor 

Computer Software/Hardware Skills: 

MS Office: MS Excel (basic), MS Word (basic) 

Specific Requirements/Qualifications: 

 Minimum 2 years proven and demonstrable successful supervisory skills 

 Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision 

 Previous retail sales experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Computer data entry skills preferred. 

Education Requirements: 

 High School or equivalent Diploma. 

Physical Requirements: 

 Lifting up to 30 Pounds 

Level I Requirements: 

Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills. High School Diploma or equivalent training and experience. Basic skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word. Level I have two plus year’s previous supervisory or 3 years’ experience in retail sales. Ability to motivate other individuals and maintain a positive strong team focused working environment, maintain store appearance, safe guard company asset and provide exceptional customer service. 

Level 2 Requirements: 

Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills. High School Diploma or equivalent training and experience. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word. Level 2 must have four plus year’s previous supervisory or 5 years’ experience in retail sales. Ability to motivate other individuals and maintain a positive strong team focused working environment, maintain store appearance, safe guard company asset and provide exceptional customer service.
