Cellular One Distributes 500 Backpacks During Annual BackPack2School Giveaway

Families across five communities received clear backpacks filled with school supplies to help students begin the new school year prepared.

Cellular One successfully wrapped up its annual BackPack2School giveaway series, distributing 500 clear backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students across five communities.

Attendance was exceptional at every location, with all 100 backpacks claimed within an hour or less:

• Chinle: 100 backpacks distributed in 30 minutes

• Window Rock: 100 backpacks distributed in one hour

• Tuba City: 100 backpacks distributed in one hour

• Whiteriver: 100 backpacks distributed in one hour

• Shiprock: 100 backpacks distributed in 45 minutes

This year’s Super Mario Bros.-inspired theme brought an extra level of fun to the events. Families enjoyed a colorful photo backdrop and interactive photo opportunities, while the button-making station gave children another memorable activity to enjoy as they prepared for the new school year.

Community response was overwhelmingly positive both at the events and on social media. Many parents shared their appreciation for the clear backpacks and included school supplies, noting that the giveaway provided meaningful support as their children returned to the classroom.
