Cellular One has announced plans to consolidate its Zuni and Gallup retail locations, with the Zuni store concluding operations at the end of August 2026.

 

The decision follows an evaluation of Cellular One’s retail footprint and is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to align resources, strengthen operations and position the organization for long-term sustainability.

For more than two decades, Cellular One’s Zuni location has served customers throughout the Zuni Pueblo community, building relationships that extend well beyond wireless service.

 

“We are incredibly grateful to the Zuni community for the trust and loyalty they have shown Cellular One over the years,” said Judd Hinkle, CEO of Cellular One. “While our retail footprint is changing, our commitment to serving our customers and the communities we call home remains strong.”

 

As part of the consolidation, the Zuni team will transition to Cellular One’s Gallup location, allowing customers to continue working with familiar team members while accessing in-person service and support.

 

Cellular One also recognizes Karla Kallestewa for her exceptional dedication and leadership serving the Zuni Pueblo community for more than 20 years. Her commitment to customers and the relationships she has built reflect the community-focused service that has long been at the heart of Cellular One.

 

The Zuni store’s final day of operation will be Friday, August 28, 2026.
